Seedhe Maut
Seedhe Maut is a hip hop duo from New Delhi, India. It consists of Siddhant Sharma (stage name Calm) and Abhijay Negi (stage name Encore ABJ). The two met at Spit Dope Inc., a Delhi underground battle rap league organised by MC Kode and Encore ABJ. They released their first track, “Seedhe Maut Anthem” in May 2017, followed by their debut EP “2 ka Pahada”. Calm, who previously rapped in English, switched his language to Hindi. Since then, the duo has released three studio albums – “Lunch Break” “Bayaan” and “Nayaab“, and a mixtape “न” between the two; as well as several singles, with many tracks produced by Sez on the Beat, and Calm. The rap duo has made songs on politics, romance, Indian society and the education system.
